Alan Gallery

The Alan Gallery offers art paintings and sculptures by famous Croatian painters and sculptors, and deals with the sale and promotion of art.

On the site of the old glass factory in Mažuranićeva street, the Alan gallery was opened two years ago in a newly renovated space. In it, art lovers can buy works by famous Croatian painters, paintings by Veža, Jordan, Seder, Berber and others are on offer.

The director of the company, Vedran Višnjević, says that the people of Bjelovar love Mladen Veža's paintings the most, but they also like to bring their own works for framing. After winter, they bring tapestries and handicrafts, and they can choose from 70 types of moldings for frames.

The gallery has kept part of its tradition, so it still glass doors and windows, mostly for customers from the surrounding area, who come from Čazma, Garešnica, Vrbovačka Dubrava and other places around Bjelovar. Already at the beginning of its work, the gallery was involved in the social life of the city, so an exhibition by Davor Gopec was organized as part of the BOKfest, and there are also plans to organize independent exhibitions. They are also thinking about expanding the space, but those are still plans.
